Storage tab not detecting games installed on Micro SD
So i have Horizion Zero Dawn and SkyrimSE installed on Micro SD.
The storage clean function is detecting both games as not installed.
The compatdata folder for both is on the internal storage, with the game files on MicroSD.
Are they both installed through Steam? Also, did you hotswap the microSD while the Deck was turned on?
Yes, both games (were installed through steam.
No, No hot swapping. i only have on SD and it basically lives in there.
Strangly enough, can confirm both games are now detected however. Odd.
It's possible that the Steam API didn't return the full payload if the request was slow enough, in which case they would have been marked with "???". I plan to do a PoC with a different API soon, so hopefully it won't be an issue for long if that is the case.

Reporting in that this is occurring once again. the Sync Game data function says that there is no data to move to /from mmcblk0p1, dispite Diablo 2 resurrected (non-steam game, obviously lol), Skyrim, and Horizion Zero Dawn (latter two ARE steam games) being installed on the MicroSD.
MicroSD is mounted and being detected. MicroSD has not been removed since i created this topic 2 weeks ago. System has been restarted.
all games on Micro SD are not being detected in the delete Game Data tab, as well.
There any logs or anyhting i can send to help out?
Thank you for the update! Open the "sync game data" function and then attach the /home/deck/.cryo_utilities/cryoutilities.log file here, please!

That's... interesting. Did you let the whole sync window load before attaching this? It looks like it's cut off.
yes. as far as im aware. each section said that there was nothing to move, with a close and a cancel section. i'll re-try and attach to this comment:
Lauched app. Opened Sync. Fully loaded until "Nothing to move" messages appeared. closed, and then exited program before uploading log.
Okay yeah, so basically it's crashing and not giving a message. Could you provide the output of these commands?

That's very odd. I'm not sure why there's a compatdata folder on the SD card at all, since there shouldn't be one in that folder AFAIK. It also seems like it just silently fails when looking into your SD card at all.
- Are you able to make new folders/files on the SD card?
- Are either
/home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdataor/home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/shadercachesymlinks?
If you navigate to /home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps, they'll be shown in italics.
