TeamSpeak Push-To-Talk disables G-Key Voice Activation

Open CrossVR opened this issue 11 years ago • 5 comments

It can be reproduced by enabling Voice Activation through a G-Key and then activating Push-To-Talk key through a normal TeamSpeak hotkey.

Unable to reproduce Unless I'm not understanding what you did to mess it up...

May have been fixed on the side of Teamspeak, if so that's great.

glad your still around :D Now that I'm reading the title.(again). I believe what you have been experiencing was that teamspeak stops transmitting you voice when you Push and release another Push-to-talk key. This is happening to how TS handles voice activation. TS waits for a command of something along the lines of STARTTRANSMISSION and then as its transmitting it waits for a command of STOPTRANSMISSION But this just my theory...

I just released a completely new version of the G-Key plugin, a complete rewrite from scratch. You can get it from the myteamspeak.com.

Source code is available on github.

Thank you for providing a plugin like this to such a niche market. I'm very grateful. Cheers!
