Be able to choose which characters/retainers inventories to display

I combed through the Issues list and didn't see it, and I also didn't see it in the settings but maybe I missed it.

Is it possible/would it be possible to exclude certain inventories from searches? I have a couple characters that I don't play much, and I also have some retainers with the same names (my bad) so it sometimes gets confusing when I'm looking for items/materials. Thanks!
