PlayStation Symbols
PSP
A user interface containing pictograms similar to the PlayStation Portable (PSP) can be found .

Idea
Especially the PlayStation buttons are interesting. As they are just simple shapes they are not covered by any copyright law. However, they appear very widely in game manuals and cheat books. The meaning of the symbols is concluded here.
Interestingly Unicode 11.0 includes the four new characters
- 1F7D5 CIRCLED TRIANGLE
- 1F7D6 NEGATIVE CIRCLED TRIANGLE
- 1F7D7 CIRCLED SQUARE
- 1F7D8 NEGATIVE CIRCLED SQUARE
as “Go stone markers”. This set should be renamed to “Circled geometric shapes” and the characters:
- [ ] 1F7D9 CIRCLED MULTIPLICATION X
- [ ] 1F7DA NEGATIVE CIRCLED MULTIPLICATION X
- [ ] 1F7DB CIRCLED CIRCLE
- [ ] 1F7DC NEGATIVE CIRCLED CIRCLE
should be added.

Note: The symbol left to the A-B character is not a camera, but a UMD, a Sony proprietary optical disc format.
Instead of the proposed 1F7D9 CIRCLED MULTIPLICATION X, the alternative
⮿ U+2BBF CIRCLED BOLD X
would be possible, but it still needs a negative counterpart for the pressed button.
