Sausage emoji
There is a sausage in the Hotdog emoji 🌭 U+1F32D and slices of salami/pepperoni on many Pizza emoji glyphs 🍕, but no Wiener sausage, bratwurst, currywurst or similar. Could be used as a phallic symbol.
Petitions
A penis and vagina emoji would probably not be widely accepted. But sausages reinterpreted as penises is a bit of a long shot. Bratwurst and mustard would be great, Weißwurst and Curry even better.
I'm missing all the various nice German sausages, too. Also some from Austria, Italy and Hungary.
While people in need will use all sorts of symbolism, I don't think we should concern ourselves with it. Unicode is supposed to help humans express their thoughts, not judge them. For vaguely hinting at male genitalia, possible candidates could be
- U+0238 latin small letter db digraph (ȸ)
- U+0239 latin small letter qp digraph (ȹ)
- U+0723 syriac letter semkath (ܣ)
- U+0724 syriac letter final semkath (ܤ)
- U+0854 mandaic letter ash (ࡔ)
- U+10012 linear b syllable b070 ko (𐀒)
- U+101E9 phaistos disc sign horn (𐇩)
- U+101EB phaistos disc sign bulls leg (𐇫)
- U+2642 male sign (♂)
- also some mathematical operators
- U+1F952 cucumber (🥒)
- U+1F955 carrot (🥕)
However, in case of the sausages, I want to not just vaguely hint at them with "(" or ")" but instead explicitly express whether it's a Wiener, Frankfurter Rindswurst, Paprikaknacker, (big) Rostbratwurst, Nürnberger, Saumagen, Bierschinken, Weißwurst, … :-)
Additionally, slices of each would be nice. And the mixed sausages plate.
