Left-Handed emoji
Left-handed – several hand emojis show the left hand on some platforms, but there’s no right–left pair, except for ✍️ and 🖎 U+1F58E where the latter is not an emoji yet. Therefore, this may not require a new code point being (proposed and) assigned, but just one gaining the necessary attribute.
Nib and Magnifying Glass emojis are already available facing in either direction: right-hand 🖋🔍 and left-hand ✒️🔎.
Petitions
The beta of Emoji 11.0 (UTS#51) introduces the concept of ZWJ sequences to indicate the direction of emojis, but no emojis will be recommended to be supported with this in the initial release due June 2018.
