Changing color of text before labels are applied?

Hello - I was hoping that there would be an option to change the color of the text that is shown before any text is entered after hitting s in copy mode (from white to something slightly darker, so the labels stand out more for me) but there doesn't seem to be one. Any chance that could be added?
