Elevator Controls Not Allowing Increase of Selected Floor Number

Describe the Bug

When using elevator controls on an elevator, scrolling down will reduce the number of the selected floor, but scrolling up will leave the number the same.

Reproduction Steps

1. Construct an elevator with at least two floors to move between, and contraption controls on board.
2. Scroll up and down on the elevator controls.
3. The controls will only ever lower the floor number.

Expected Result

The controls should allow both an increase and decrease of the selected floor number.

I am doing this in the nether, if that changes anything. I also play with a trackpad.

I Have also been afflicted by this bug, however I am not sure what may have caused it

I've successfully pinned down the issue and how to properly reproduce and mitigate it. It seems to happen when altering the values on Options > Controls > Mouse settings > Scroll Sensitivity.

• if the scroll sensitivity is lower than 1.00, the issue starts happening, not sure why.
• once scroll sensitivity is 1.00 or above, normal behaviour ensues.

PS: I do play on the Fabric v0.5.1b and can only assume this bug comes from upstream, as I have done no further testing.

This still happens, with sensitivity below 1.0, it only goes down. But then the sensitivity is so high that i cannot select the level i want, it goes from min to max in a millisecond.

I have also experienced this bug, thanks for posting. I'm on version 0.5.1-j on 1.20.1
