Outside ambience leaks inside due to non-existent "glass_panes" block tag

Open enveeed opened this issue 2 weeks ago • 1 comments

Ambience that is supposed to play outside, currently plays inside in rooms that use glass panes.

Here is an example room that is closed off completely, using glass panes as well as regular blocks:

Room Before

As is visible, the air value is almost 1 despite being inside.

The issue is that engine.json uses a non-existent block tag #minecraft:glass_panes in an attempt to mark glass panes as solid but as far as I know this tag does not actually exist or at least does not exist in current versions of the game:

Block data for glass panes Block data for pink glass panes

I changed the tag to the minecraft:glass_pane block ID to see if this works, and it fixed it.

Room after

Of course a proper fix would need to include all color variants.
