Made it re-entrant

I some cases, I need to display a modal box on top of another modal box which was not possible. So I have made it re-entrant. It now works fine for me, but I didn't take the time to test in all possible use-cases (project has to be prodded tomorrow), so you might want to check a bit... ;-)
