Side by side not working with relative time

I am trying to make a This Week / This Month panel, and set Relative Time to "now/w" / "now/M". After setting the relative time, bars are not shown side by side anymore, they are all behind each-other. Removing relative time and setting "This Week" or "This Month" as the time range in grafana displays the bars correctly. Is this a known issue/easy to fix?
