Server crashes when mod is added (Fabric loader 0.15.0+)

Just like the titles says, when the mod is added to a modded minecraft server using the most recent version of Fabric the server crashes with the error:

net.fabricmc.loader.impl.FormattedException: java.lang.NoSuchFieldError: FORMAT
