Hi, i would like receive GPU recommendations for Large and Medium Models to run in AMD, Intel or Nvidia.
Hello, I'm Brazilian and I would like to purchase a video card to transcribe documents into videos.
If possible, I would like to receive feedback regarding some video cards and suggestions for others.
AMD RX580 (Aliexpress) Nvidia GTX 1660S (Aliexpress) AMD RX 6400 INTEL ARC A380.
Whatever you get, be sure to get at least 12GB of RAM in it if you wish to do batch processing with Whisperer. I'm just upgrading from a 12GB GPU to a new machine with a 24GB GPU because I do a lot of batch processing.
Are you sure the Whisperer project is processing the audio in batches? Whenever I try process files they do it in sequence using a 12GB VRAM card.
how are you checking this? if you open taskmgr, details tab, check how many main.exe's are running, With 12GB and large model should be 2 maybe 3. Large model takes about 4 GB each.
