Warped and Crimson Boats

Feature: Warped and Crimson boats! These could work just like normal boats in water, but on lava are extremely slow (in order to not make the Strider redundant).

This is something we would like to add at some point and have considered. If we did add them, we probably wouldn't allow them to float on lava though, as boats of regular wood types just sink if made fireproof, similar to if they become capsized on water. Last time the idea was brought up, Jay said adding new boat types is a painful process though, and 1.19 will likely just make that more annoying with chest boats.

It definitely would be annoying, we might wanna make a platform specific implementation of it if we do.

The obsidian boat guy updated his mod to 1.20, and it works on Fabric. I think nether wood boats floating on lava would be a great addition to the game, even if there were an obsidian boat option too. I like options as a player. For most of the game obsidian is hard to come by in quantity, and usually by the time you can get a lot of it, you have an elytra too, so it's moot.

If we do add nether boats, they won't float on lava. They would be fireproof, but making them float on lava would remove any need for Striders to exist.
