Feature: Let connectors provide their own fatal errors

Feature description

On Conduit v.0.12.0, we provided the ability to automatically recover from errors.

In Conduit, a fatal error causes the pipeline to go into a degraded state automatically, which is something some connectors might want.

The request here is to let connectors provide those.
