allowParentLinks no effect on IE10 Mobile

Open jmvn opened this issue 10 years ago • 2 comments

When changing allowParentLinks to true, nothing happens in IE10 Mobile (Windows Phone 8) when clicking the text of a parent link.

When clicking outside of the text/on the arrow, the child menu is expanded, just as it does in other browsers. So the problem only regards the text link itself.

Furthermore, it is my opinion that Slicknav is truly amazing.

@jmvn, unfortunately I have no mobile windows devices to test this further on. It may be the case that IE10 mobile does not support nested anchor tags, which are discouraged. Without an actual device for testing I am limited to emulation.

Okay, thanks anyway! Unfortunately no browser tester seems to include IE10 Mobile, there's only the Windows Phone Emulator (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windowsphone/develop/ff402563(v=vs.105).aspx) which is a big hassle for such as small market as Windows Phone users.
