submenus open only when the little icon is tapped

When I tap on the parent menu words the whole menu closes but when I tap on the icon arrow it opens. I have tried to change different settings but nothing has worked. Is there something I must change within the code?

Did you try to set "allowParentLinks" to "false"? https://github.com/ComputerWolf/SlickNav#options
