SlickNav inserted into PHP issue

I'm attempting to insert this into a PHP page. I'm having issues with it rendering correctly. When I go to the actual page it's displaying the code at the top versus a menu. Wondering what I'm doing wrong and what would be the proper way to display this in a *.php webpage.
