[Bug]MarkdownTextBlock links mouse hover and click zone extends horizontally past the link

Open jaimecbernardo opened this issue 2 years ago • 9 comments

Describe the bug

In MarkdownTextBlock, if a link is the last element in the line, its click zone and zone where it shows the tooltip extends to the end of the line as well. It should not extend past the link. Creating this issue as suggested in https://github.com/microsoft/PowerToys/issues/16902

Reproducible in sample app?

  • [X] This bug can be reproduced in the sample app.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open the sample app from the Windows Store.
2. Go to the MarkdownTextBlock page.
3. In the Markdown Text, scroll down to show one of the links which are the last in their line.
4. Mouse hover past the end of the link in the same vertical space and verify that the tooltip appears and that if you click, the link activates.

I'm sending a screenshot, with the mouse pointer in the area indicated by the red dot.

Expected behavior

Clickable and hover area should not extend horizontally past the link.
