Nodes 2.0: double click input connection should spawn primitive node

What problem are you experiencing?

Before Nodes 2.0, you could quickly spawn a primitive node by double clicking an input connection, like so:

In Nodes 2.0, you have to search for the primitive node from your nodes and packages list.

Ideas for solutions (Optional)

Implement the same functionality as before: double clicking should automatically spawn the most appropriate primitive node.
