[Feature Request]: Show the template version in the setting menu.

Is there an existing issue for this?

  • [x] I have searched the existing issues and checked the recent builds/commits

What would your feature do ?

Many users are asking why they don't have the latest template. Most of them didn't get the latest template because they just did a "git pull" to update ComfyUI or the update of comfyui-workflow-templates failed. But they won't notice that.

I hope that the version of comfyui-workflow-templates can also be displayed in the settings menu. It will be much easier to explain it to them in this way, because many users are not very familiar with PIP-related operations and virtual environments.

I'm not against this, but I would prefer we just had a very calm, non-interrupting kind of indication (e.g. icon with badge) when a user starts with an out of date frontend or templates. They should be able to dismiss it sort-of-forever (until next core update).

In the about window, we can have everything out of date appear in red. So, yeah, let's do this too.

I think this idea is even better.
