AppImage keeps running after removal of app

When richdocumentscode app is disabled or removed, the detached AppImage process keeps running.

I can see behavior that is probably related. My OS is Debian 11 with it's default packages and it's Nextcloud with the latest apps.

I have a loolwsd running under php7.4-fpm.service in the systemctl status tree after opening a document. This remains running after closing the document. (Not sure if this behavior is intended.) You can also open another document afterwards.

But when shutting down or rebooting the whole server or when restarting the php7.4-fpm.service the loolwsd process refuses to shut down. In the log files you can see afterwards that systemd decides to kill it due to not responding after systemd reaches its internal timeout.
