View > Sidebar: "Style" dropdown showing some Style names "in a foreign language"
Describe the Bug
Instead of showing:
- Body Text
in the sidebar's "Style" dropdown, it showed a "foreign language":
- Corps de texte
even though the entire rest of my UI was in English:
(See how toolbar version shows correct "Body Text" highlighted, but the sidebar version shows "Corps de texte"!)
Note: This bug probably requires multiple users (with mixes of UI/browser languages) at same time. I was in "English (US)" + at least 1 other user was in a "French" browser.
Steps to Reproduce
In Writer:
- View > Sidebar ON.
- Click in any paragraph with the "Body Text" Style applied.
BUG: Look at sidebar's Style dropdown.
Expected Behavior
- If UI is English, everything to be in English.
- "Home" tab Styles + Sidebar's "Styles" menu/dropdown should always match.
Actual Behavior
- Sidebar "Styles" menu/dropdown sometimes lists "foreign"/translated Styles.
- "Corps de texte" in French == "Body Text" in English

Additional Context
Found during COOL Weekly 172:
- @pedropintosilva was able to also able see same issue.
- @Minion3665 was the one with a "French" browser.
- Other users may have had different UIs/mixes too.
While this bug was occurring, I also noticed...
When I opened sidebar's "Styles" dropdown, it also had lots of other strange "French" Styles showing below English "Heading 1":
Maybe that might give a hint to root of problem too:
-
Corps de texte
= Body Text- Notice in screenshot, both the English "Body Text" + French "Corps de texte" existed.
- And that the French version in sidebar was highlighted instead!

-
En-tête

Texte préformaté

Titre 1

Titre 2

Titre 3

Titre principal

Odd thing was, the French names only appeared in the "Sidebar" version, and didn't seem to appear in the "Home" tab version. (But I didn't look TOO TOO closely through every Style in the Home tab previews.)
