to much space is occupied in Home tabbed view by the formatting section, which results in the need of scrolling the tabbed view (on a Macbook 13" - except the characters are very small to to zoom out)

Describe the solution you'd like

a simple solution would be to use a drop down menu like in the "compressed" view

Describe alternatives you've considered

in calc this section uses much shorter abbreviations as "H1" for "Heading 1"

@ferdiga we made some adjustment using CSS, so now formatting tab will be adjusted based on available space in Hom tab https://github.com/CollaboraOnline/online/pull/10132

With the new UI restyling, scrolling is no longer required in the Home tab of the Tabbed View mode. Full screen:
