Selecting text causes uncontrollable scrolling
Describe the bug Trying to select text causes the page to scroll which makes it near impossible to select only the text you want. This doesn't happen all the time but once it does occur it doesn't reset until the page is refreshed
To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Create document with several pages of text
- Try to select a small subset of the text
- Notice the page scroll with your selection
Expected behavior The page should not scroll unless you are selecting text above or below the viewport
Actual behavior The page scrolls when selecting multiple lines within the viewport

Had the same issue with Calc. Select Cell A1, hold shift and select Cell B10, and after the click the UI would start to scroll well past the B10000 cell and only stop if you click somewhere on any cell. So you end up with a selection of many thousand cells. ... This happened on v6.4.10 but I'll lookout if this happends in 21.x.x too.
Hey @MagsMagnoli or @relikd :
Can you retest this issue?
I believe this may have been squished in the meantime, because I don't think I've seen scrolling issue recently.
I didnt have time to upgrade yet (still 23.05.5.2), but I can reproduce a related issue: double clicking on a column border (such that it applies the best fitting column width) will select the whole column and jump to the bottom / last row (>1M). A bit inconvenient but at least it jumps directly and is not lagging for a few seconds until the animation stops. Note: this is not the behavior described in this issue. I can not remember that happening in the last few weeks. I guess it is fixed but I will keep an eye on it in case it happens again.
