Data can either be found

  • on INSEE's website: https://www.insee.fr/fr/information/3363419
  • on data.gouv.fr:

INSEE already published all codes in RDF : http://rdf.insee.fr/geo/index.html

However this publication took place in 2016, and only the top level codes (regions and departements) may not be outdated.

City codes need to be regenerated from one of the sources above.

I didn't find where the data I used came from. I will consequently add full processing in this project.
