Feature Request: Spoof Device type

Hello.. thanks for making the app version of AppStore++ It is truly an essential tweak & a huge advantage of jailbreaking.

Now that the app version of AppStore++ can be installed on iOS 13 (& other jailbroken devices), I’d like to request a feature: Spoof device type.

Why? I install WhatsApp on my iPad, WhatsApp isn’t officially supported on iPads & you can’t find it on iPads’ AppStore. The workaround for this issue is:

• download WhatsApp from old AppStore-supported iTunes (or 3uTools)
• Install the account-bound .ipa using 3uTools or Sideloadly (Normal Install method, since Ad-hoc or Fakesign method using AppSync Unified will trigger Apple’s protection causing a crash upon launching the app)

The issue with this method is:

1. sometimes WhatsApp will force you to update the app, & you’ll need to repeat the process every time (even though your device is jailbroken & technically there should be nothing preventing us from downloading it on-device)
2. & also there is no option to downgrade :(

With the introduction of AppStorePlus app I thought this would solve my issues (since we now have the advantage that WhatsApp now appears in the AppStorePlus app unlike the official AppStore) but unfortunately when I try to upgrade or downgrade WhatsApp it says: “Cannot Download App: WhatsApp Messenger isn’t compatible with this device.”

I don’t know how 3uTools or Sideloadly are able to install the app without modifying its info.plist file (so I don’t think the issue is there, I think the issue is with downloading only) but I can think of two ways you can solve this issue:

• Spoof device type: allow AppStorePlus app to act as a different device (iPad or PC for example) this way the app download will be allowed.
• or create a PC version of AppStorePlus.. :D

Another feature request:

• allow ipa export: AFAIK there is no tool that allows you to export account-bound (aka uncracked) ipa files. The addition of this feature may allow us to install downgraded apps even on non-jailbroken devices & will be another huge help for the community from you.
