Expand to include Relation Annotation models

Once relation Anno models are available in MedCAT we should include these models in the annotation / online-learning process similar to concept recognition.

Hi! I was trying to do relation annotation, such as "negation, modifier, historical". But I found that all the relations are set to "negative" when I hit "submit" Screen Shot 2022-04-27 at 5 09 53 PM .

Hi,

I am facing similar error while using the multiple relation feature in MedCAT Trainer. I created 2 relations "Date" and "Qualifier value". After adding both the relations in a document and submitting, the relations mapped as qualifier value changes to the "Date" relation. By using single relations for a project (project with either Date/Qualifier value relation only). I'm able to annotate properly. Am I missing any step while using multiple qualifier values?

Has this problem now resolved?

Hi @PeijinV5 and @Sosa9 - apologies for this bug - has been fixed in the latest release. If you git pull the latest on master and restart the containers this front-end logic issue should not be sorted.

@tomolopolis: Thank you for your quick response. Can you also help me to understand how to use these relations that I trained. How do I get my model to be trained using these annotated relations?

Hi @tomolopolis,

Are relation annotation models available in MedCAT now? Here it mentions that identification of relationships between entities is possible in Cogstack but how is not clear to me. I know it is possible to annotate relationships using MedCATTrainer but can it be automated (and customised) using MedCAT?

Many thanks in advance, Rachel
