[BUG]: IAFD not recognizing titles with ( ) - as in Title XYZ (II)

Open jfreiman opened this issue 2 years ago • 3 comments

I have about 180 titles already added and matched using IAFD that have a roman numeral appending the movie titles.

I noticed that the new movies and scenes I am adding into Plex are not matching with IAFD any longer and I have to remove the (II)/(III) etc for them to match.

As an example, I have the feature, Side by Side previously matched in Plex and the artwork, description, and actors are appearing as expected.

Filename: (Bareback Delivery Services) - Side By Side (II) (2019)

formerly matched: https://www.iafd.com/title.rme/title=side+by+side+%28ii%29/year=2019/side-by-side-%28ii%29.htm

After refreshing the title the URL/Tagline is blank and the data is removed.

I would prefer not to have to rename and re-match my existing videos, but will if this is the new way PGMA is matching. This way I know how to add new titles for current and future titles/refreshing metadata.

Video titles with $ also are not matching with IAFD.
D3sperate Dump$t3r https://www.iafd.com/title.rme/title=d3sperate+dump%24t3r/year=2020/d3sperate_dump%24t3r.htm

This and other titles were matched previously but didn't have links to all the actors (when viewing the XML) - refreshing lost all existing data and the titles are showing zero video data. 😪
