Linked Trapped Chests Broken

I noticed after linking a trapped chest that it no longer sends a redstone pulse when opened. Is there a fix/config setting to this that I am missing? I am running a 1.12.2 Spigot server.

Been a year.. lol. However, my fork resolves this problem. Take a look here: https://github.com/RednedEpic/PhatLoots. Fairly sure we're both in a mutual Discord server, but my Discord is Redned#9473 if you encounter any issues.
