I just got the message that this method of google signin will soon be deprecated. Can you tell me when ypu'll be updating this please?

It appears to still be working for me today.

Yes, I think my issue was caused by trying to run the plugin on desktop (which was similated as mobile/native).

Just to be clear this is an issue that will need to be addressed though, right? Because, per the link to the Migration Guide...

First of all, thanks for this plugin, which I'm very happy to use! Same issue here. Google will shutdown support end of march 2023. Anything planned?
