Is it possible to show commit numbers in a repo?

You mean the shortened hash? I agree, that could be a good thing to show.

Additionally, would be great if hashes in texts could be hyperlinked to quickly jump to the commit. Thanks.

A copy icon next to a short hash should copy the whole hash to the clipboard.
