✨ macOS 26 Tahoe App Icon

Description

As of macOS 26 Tahoe, app icons are supposed to be closed squares, which will then be clipped by the system.

The Apple Podcasts app icon.The Apple Home app icon.

Opinions aside, CodeEdit looks really ugly in Squircle Jail. An image of CodeEdit in squircle jail in the macOS dock.

Since CodeEdit's app icon is very similar to the icon used in Xcode 16, updating it for the upcoming design using inspiration from the new Xcode app icon would make sense.

Any updates on this? @thecoolwinter do you think the new icon will be ready by the time Tahoe is out?

@knotbin I have been collaborating with a few designers to make it just right. This new style was a bit disorienting at first so we want to be sure to create something that we thing everyone will love and is consistent with Apples new design language. Stay tuned!
