🐞 Lag when selecting certain settings menus

Description

When using the arrow keys to navigate between the settings menu, there is a noticeable lag when selecting these four menus: General, Navigation, Themes, Text Editing. This does not happen with the other settings menus, as they load in quickly are responsive.

To Reproduce

1. Open the settings menu
2. Select the Terminal menu
3. Using your arrow keys, quickly navigate between the Terminal and Locations menus. Notice how responsive it is.
4. Now navigate throughout the rest of the menu and notice there is a pause between selecting the mentioned settings menus.

Expected Behavior

There can't be lag when quickly navigating between settings menus.
