Issue with the pace bar not stopping

I have a new project asp.net core 6 MVC, I added the pace js and css. But when the page loads the pace bar never completes and goes away.

I have tried in edge, chrome, and safari. Any suggestions to the issue?

If I use the old version 0.5.6 the pace bar goes away.

Are you including Pace as first script of the page, as recommended in documentation?
