How to add string under the gif

I couldn't found any info about that. I am trying to add some strings under the loading gif. I am calling gif in pace.css like this: .pace-activity{background:url("../../../img/pace/preloader.gif")

But can't figure out how to add text. I just want to add 10-15 string and need the call this under the gif randomly. If somebody can explain to me. It would be great. If i can add one string instead of loop this would be great too. Thanks in advance :)
