Progress bar showing after page is already loaded

I am not sure what I am doing wrong, but I included the javascript file and it's not working as expected.

Whenever i click on a link, change page etc, the progress bar only shows after the new page is already loaded.

To replicate, just click around and you'll get the feel of what I mean.

Ideally, I would want it to work like this: http://webapplayers.com/luna_admin-v1.3/index.html

When you click around, the right panel becomes a gray panel with just the progress bar until the page is loaded.

You should also be sure to show or describe how you currently have the library implemented and initialized - I shouldn't have to go to a site and login to help you.
