This is a fantastic addition to Carnac. Please merge it with the master and release.

It looks like the only thing holding this up is merge conflicts. It's 2.5 years old now. Are there any plans to get this finished?

I updated this to today's state of the master branch in #273. It seems that #273 could be merged with no conflicts now.
