The bus finder app doesn't actually give instructions about how to ride the bus from point A to point B. We originally decided not to add that functionality since it already exists. The app should tell people how to get their trip planned (they can use the Google Maps or the Trip Planner on the GoHRT.com).

If someone is looking for a challenge, go ahead and add trip planning to the bus finder app using the Google Maps API (I don't think transit was an option in the directions request API when we started this a year ago).
