CocoaPods app 1.2 very high CPU usage on High Sierra

Launching the CocoaPods app (1.2) on macOS High Sierra 10.13 (17A405) put the CPU usage at almost 70%.

I'd recommend digging into the problem and sending a PR, I'm not planning on doing any work on this app further than updating it when we do new cocoapods releases. Adding new messages to this thread won't encourage me to fix it 👍

Same issue here.... My Mac heats up a lot when the app is running and it uses a lot of CPU...

This issue still remains when installing CocoaPods with the official application (Version 1.5.2) to Xcode (Version 10.0) on macOS Mojave. Attached is a screenshot from Activity Monitor to depict this issue. cocoapods application cpu

An issue mentioned this problem before, it was locked on cocoapods, this operation...I have the same problem
