Audio crackling/lagging

So whenever I load certain games I added, the audio (and possibly the speed of the game itself... I can't tell,) is extremely slow and choppy. I messed with the latency of the audio, certain settings make it choppy, while others make the sound run perfectly fine with the sound cutting out every few seconds. Any idea on how to fix this?

Which version are you using? Do you have NES or SNES? Which games are you added?
