Request: Use XUID or UUID instead of an IP address
When player join the server, instead of display the player's IP address on the server, it is better to display the xuid or the uuid

yeah its much better for preventing people IP getting leaked or just make it not say IP or UUID at all
What's the benefit of seeing player XUID or UUID? What you do with that information?
From my own view, it won’t work with offline mode (non-Xbox mode).

I believe UUID is generated with the name making it useless if you change your name.
It's hashed from your device ID if not using Xbox Live or from your XUID if you are.
Personally, I think that if you have access to the console, what's the problem with viewing the IP addresses? You have full control over the server so having IP addresses makes it more informative. If you want a way to find a players XUID or UUID, a simple plugin could be created for it.

Java edition servers display the IP too and it hasn't bothered anyone in such a long time.

If thats the case, whats to stop people from installing a plugin that grabs addresses regardless.
