Cloudcompy in a venv

Hi everyone, I would really love to be able to run CloudCompy in a standard venv (as opposed to the current conda requirement). It would make the bundling of some of our applications a lot easier. Unfortunately, my knowledge of C++/Python conversion is limited, and I have no idea what it implies in terms of coding/building efforts! Has anyone achieved this yet? Many thanks in advance!

Hi, There are already several issues about the same idea, and I'm keeping this in mind. Unfortunately, I think it represents a lot of work to be done properly, as there are a lot of libraries involved in packaging all CloudCompare plugins. If anyone has already started this work, I'm willing to contribute! Regards, Paul
