Commands and fixes from the yeahwhat bot

I put all the new code from our bot into commits today and picked the ones which could be useful for everyone. Most of the other stuff is specific to our server and would probably need some source code modification to work for other servers. This is just a quick selection, feel free to remove and add any commits you want.
