Confusing release policy: 1.0.3 vs 1.0.5 vs 1.0.7

We are currently evaluating a new APNS library. This project came up but now I a bit confused about the current version.

According to the front page the latest release is version 1.0.3 from 18.12.2017

On maven central the latest version is 1.0.5. Strangely this version was released in may 2020.

In the pom.xml file the version is 1.0.7.

So what is the latest version? I would guess it is 1.0.6 but this one is neither released on github nor in maven central. Can you shed some light?
