I am always frustrated, when i get killed by one of the minibosess after they just turn the corner.

Solution you would like.

Dr.Brains and other similiarly powerfull psions can be sensed to a degree. Similar to A Shadow? monster if you enter into a radius 20 tiles away from them you get a message in style "Someone vast mind is nearby and it send chill down your spine, you need to be miles away from here".

Describe alternatives you have considered.

Limit such enemies only to very specific locations (loot rooms/aka shelter with expensive equipment and stuck staff members)/ (add security room with cameras to allow seeing all enemies in a region without having to peek into every room).
