Replace it with a version of fat or tallow that comes in smaller, 10-25 mL units?

Absolutely, animal cooking oil should just straight be replaced with lard/tallow, the issue i found is that all three have different volumes per item, meaning to migrate animal cooking oil, both lard and tallow items should get their size decreased, and all recipes should be tweaked accordingly
