Right now for storage there's furniture like the safe, the electronic gun safe (f_gunsafe_el) and the fireman's cabinet (f_fireman_cabinet) but hospitals and doctor's offices have their own need for secure, tamper-proof storage.

Solution you would like.

At large well funded facilities, put in electronically locked medication-vending machines (Automated Dispensing Cabinets, or ADCs) for authorized staff, with a tamper-detecting feature to beep very, very loudly in the case of an unauthorized breach.

At more low budget locations like doctor's offices, use a simple wall-mounted narcotics cabinet with a mechanical lock (or two).

Large facilities still have to transport smaller quantities of medication within the building, and rather than fully trusting their employees it might be transported in the less secure storage of a medical cart, secured by a physical lock or simple electronic keypad.

Describe alternatives you have considered.

Reuse the fireman's cabinet for medical storage.
