Traps and prone (movements in the prone position)

Open IdleSol opened this issue 1 year ago • 0 comments

Describe the bug

If you crawl on a trap, only your legs suffer. Bear trap or caltrop, it doesn't matter. Only the legs will be hurt. Although in reality, any part of the body can be hurt. Depending on what triggers the trap.

    • OS Version: 10.0.19043 (21H1)
  • Game Version: cdda-experimental-2024-09-10-0339 c73e4c6 [64-bit]
  • Graphics Version: Tiles
  • Game Language: English [en]
  • Mods loaded: [ Dark Days Ahead [dda], Disable NPC Needs [no_npc_food], Portal Storms Ignore NPCs [personal_portal_storms], Slowdown Fungal Growth [no_fungal_growth] ]

Additional context

  1. Triggering the trap, must damage a random body part. Prioritizing arms and body
  2. Moving by crawling (because it's very slow) should increase the chance of the trap being detected
  3. The trap should count the chance of triggering for each body part in the sequence: hands, arms, body, legs and feet. (Because you don't have to crawl through the trap). 3a. Possible exception for rope traps (shotgun/crossbow), which conversely reduce the chance of triggering.
