Exoskeleton bug - conversion mods prevent (i)nserting ablative armor

Open Regilith opened this issue 1 year ago • 0 comments

Describe the bug

Installing a UPS or bionic power conversion mod into an exoskeleton prevents the player from (i)nserting ablative armor into the exoskeleton, saying the "destination can't be reloaded".

Attach save file

N/A

Steps to reproduce

  1. Spawn a combat exoskeleton, any variant.
  2. Spawn a UPS conversion mod, install it to the exoskeleton
  3. Spawn a combat exoskeleton torso armor, any variant.
  4. Try to (i)nsert the armor into the exoskeleton

Expected behavior

I expect that installing a conversion mod would not prevent the player from (i)nserting the plate into the armor.

Additional context

One workaround to getting the plates inside is to have the exoskeleton equipped or wielded, then pick up the plates off the ground using (g). The plates will automatically go into the pockets of the exoskeleton.

This bug is not specific to exoskeletons, just equipment that has pockets and a battery, such as with the HUB defense anchor.

Pinging @BalthazarArgall as they requested to be pinged with exoskeleton stuff.
